Farmers attending Cereals 2017 in June are invited to join the Red Tractor campaign to help increase consumer awareness and understanding of the assurance logo.
Free marketing materials such as large trailer stickers and farm signs will be available from the Red Tractor stand in the AHDB Zone.
The sticker bears the slogans ‘Great Food, Great Farming’ and ‘Trust the Tractor’ with the target of appearing on 15,000 trailers and vehicles travelling around the countryside this spring and summer.
Eye-catching signs to display at the entrance to an assured farm will also be available from staff throughout the two-day event.
All materials are free for Red Tractor’s members and licensees to order and form part of a revamped Marketing Toolkit which has been an overwhelming success since its launch last year.
“We are always looking for ways to increase the visibility of the logo and explain what it stands for,” said Red Tractor’s scheme member manager Charlotte Johnston.
“With more than 60,000 farm businesses in membership, we want to arm them with the information and the tools they need to help tell the story to the public.
“If we can have 15,000 trailers or vehicles moving around with these stickers on, and encourage as many assured farms as possible to display these signs on their farm gate, then it will be a simple but effective way of raising the profile of the logo.”
The stickers have been produced in partnership with Massey Ferguson – a long standing supporter of the assurance scheme.
