Growers to get first look at Dow's Zypar10-Apr-2017 Dow AgroSciences
Growers and agronomists can learn more about the breakthrough chemistry behind Dow AgroSciences’ brand new broad-leaved weed herbicide Zypar at Cereals (stand 618).
Based on Arylex Active – the first new molecule for broad-leaved control in well over a decade – Zypar gained approval in March in time for use in 2017 spray programmes.
Visitors to Dow’s stand will see and hear how the product has delivered robust control of key problem weeds such as cleavers, cranesbill, fumitory and chickweed in the UK’s cold and variable weather patterns.
The company’s new managing director for the UK & Ireland, John Humphreys, will be on stand over the two days to outline the next new products coming out of the development pipeline and in to the UK over the next three years. They include a sap-sucking insecticide and a ground-breaking fungicide.
For BASIS and NRoSO qualified professionals, points are on offer for visiting Dow’s stand as part of the event’s Knowledge Trail.
Dow’s now-legendary wood fired pizza oven will be operating at full capacity to serve lunch to hungry visitors over the two days, with cake available in the afternoon.
Good coffee will be available throughout the show.
