Cereals: The Arable Event

Thursday 15th June 8am-5pm  

Car parks open at 6.00am with free tea and coffee available until 7.30am. 

The gates to Cereals open at 7.30am when the Event catering facilities open for breakfast, with a delicious full English available at the cafe until 11am.

Exhibition stands open at 8.00am.

The Cereals 2017 address is Boothby Graffoe, Lincoln, LN5 0AS. Please ensure you switch off your sat nav when you start to see signs for Cereals 2017.

South and East

From the South

A1 northbound, exit at junction with B6403 (at Colsterworth). Take the B6403 north to Ancaster and take A153 north east to Sleaford. Follow signs for the A15 northbound towards Lincoln, turn left onto the B1202. Please turn off your Sat Nav when you pick up the event signage ‘Cereals Visitors’.

From the East:

A17 westbound to A15 northbound, follow signs north towards Lincoln. Turn left onto the B1202. Please turn off your Sat Nav when you pick up the event signage ‘Cereals Visitors’.                                                                    

North West and South West

From the North West:

A1 southbound, take the A17 eastbound at Newark. Turn left onto Sleaford Road, right onto Pottergate Road, right onto the A607 and right onto the B1202. Please turn off your Sat Nav when you pick up the event signage ‘Cereals Visitors’. 

From the South West:

A46 north-eastbound, take the A17 eastbound at Newark. Turn left onto Sleaford Road, right onto Pottergate Road, right onto the A607 and right onto the B1202. Please turn off your Sat Nav when you pick up the event signage ‘Cereals Visitors’.

From the North:

A46 south-westbound (north of Lincoln), turn off at Thorpe on the Hill /Aubourn / Haddington junction through to Harmston. Turn right onto the A607 and then left to the event site. Do not approach from the A15 southbound. Please turn off your Sat Nav when you pick up the event signage ‘Cereals Visitors’.

Train Station

There are two local train stations both within a suitable driving distance to the Cereals 2017 site:

Metheringham - approximately 7 miles

Lincoln Central - approximately 10 miles 

Both are accessable from London Kings Cross station either direct or with at least 1 change depending upon the time of travel.

Special assistance

Access and parking      

There will be a forward parking area close to the visitor entrance for vehicles displaying the official blue disability badge. Please follow all Cereals Visitor signage to the Event.

Mobility hire  

Mobility scooters will be available to hire at Cereals 2017, located in car park 1. It is advisable to book in advance. Please click here. 

Please note Cereals takes place in a field and while it is mostly flat, there may be areas of uneven terrain, especially in wet weather.

Carers and assistants  

If you need to bring a carer, assistant or guide with you to the event to maximise your enjoyment, then that carer will be admitted free of charge at the discretion of the Box Office/Event staff. Please make this clear to the Box Office if you book tickets onsite.

Children at Cereals  

Cereals is a trade event and has a lot of working machinery.

We do not recommend children under the age of 16 attend the Event. Children aged 6-16 will be charged student rate, those under the age of 6 will be admitted free of charge.

Assistance dogs

Guide, assistance and hearing dogs are admitted into the Event.

Hearing impairments

Induction loops are fitted to ticket sales points, Press Office and Organisers Office.

Toilets

There are unisex wheelchair-accessible toilets at every toilet area across the Event site.

Medical emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency please notify a member of security or any member of the Cereals Event team who will help you.  First aid is located next to the Organisers Office.
