FAQs

What is the postcode of the Cereals Site?
As there are no farm buildings associated with this year's site there is no postcode.  For visitors, we will be operating a Park & Ride system - please see 'How To Get There' for car park information and postcodes.

Why are we having a Visitor Park & Ride?
We have, for several years now, had traffic congestion issues at the Cereals Event which has been the result of trying to bring a large number of visitors to one site when the local commuter traffic is also at its peak. We have extensively researched different car parking strategies and have concluded that, to avoid traffic conflict, Visitor Park and Ride is the solution.

How many satellite car parks are there?
There are 3 satellite car parks, all within 15-20 minutes of the event site.  The car parks have been selected to take traffic from the West, North and East/South East and to prevent the traffic meeting at any point on the road network.

How will I know which satellite car park to use?
If you book your tickets in advance, you will be given directions to your car park based on your postcode.  Full directions are also given in the 'How To Get There' section of this website and via our marketing messages to all visitors.  Traffic signs will cover the local road networks and will direct visitors to their closest car park depending on their direction of travel.

What happens if I turn up at the event site to park as a visitor?
It is integral to the traffic plan that our visitors follow the Park & Ride signage.  Please do not drive to the event site as there is NO facility for Visitor parking.

How often will the Park & Ride buses pick up?
Buses, a mixture of single and double decker, are scheduled to run at least every 10 minutes during peak times and every 15 minutes during off-peak times.  However, the aim is to provide a much more frequent service with buses running in time slots of under 5 minutes.  We are providing sufficient buses to manage all of our visitors during the peak times.

What time do the satellite car parks open and close?
The Park & Ride car parks are open from 6.00am and are closed and locked at 8.00pm. Buses will be operational from 6.30am.  Visitors can enter the site from 7.00am when catering facilities will be open for breakfast.  The exhibition stands will be open from 8.00am.  The bus service will be operational until 7.30pm in the evening.

Is there a parking fee?
No, the Park & Ride for visitors is free of charge.  Exhibitor parking is also free of charge.

Is there Disabled parking at Cereals?
Yes, there is a disabled forward parking area onsite.  These are strictly for blue badge holders.  Please pay particular attention to and follow the directional road signage.

Will coach parties have to use the Visitor Park & Ride?
