Cereals 2020: Farmplan promises to unlock value for crop growers
Although unable to attend in person this year, Farmplan aren’t planning to scale down their Cereals 2020 offering. Subjects under discussion will include an update on recent Gatekeeper developments, including the new RPA digital boundary integration, and how to achieve better nutrient management through smart data usage.
Farmplan’s Gatekeeper software recently became the first Farm Management Information System (FMIS) to provide a free and seamless integration with Rural Payments Agency (RPA) digital boundaries, allowing growers and agronomists to quickly and intuitively match their fields in Gatekeeper with their registered field boundaries. This functionality makes it much easier for users to create general farm management maps and better support precision farming activities.
In addition, Farmplan will outline the available enhanced relationships to other crop optimisation services, implementing key integrations with services like Hummingbird and KisanHub. Nutrient management will also come under discussion, with Farmplan showcasing the ways in which it can help support farmers who aim to derive the most value possible from their strategy.
Farmplan will also reveal exciting upcoming projects, including the Gen. 4 John Deere integration – expected to be ready for harvest – and enhanced MySOYL links to strengthen Gatekeeper’s usage as a key data hub for farm management.
