London, UK – [March 19, 2025] – MATE Africa, a leading African trade promotion, export facilitation, events, youth development, and agro-commodity trading company, is proud to announce its participation in the prestigious Cereals Event, taking place in Lincolnshire, UK from 11 to 12 June, 2025. The event serves as a premier platform for global stakeholders in the cereals value chain to explore new trade opportunities, innovations, and partnerships.

As a key player in Africa’s agro-commodity trading sector, MATE Africa specializes in facilitating seamless trade between African producers and international markets through market research, value addition, and trade missions. With a strong commitment to youth development, MATE Africa launches the Farmers Apprentice Africa program, created to train 100,000 African youths in entrepreneurship, agri-tech, modern agricultural practices, process development, and agribusiness management skills in order to replace Africa’s aging farming population, empower participants with practical training and experience, and revamp global perspectives on African agriculture.

During the event, MATE Africa will highlight its 100k program and showcase a diverse portfolio of high-quality cereals and staple grains cultivated across Africa. The company aims to engage with institutional partners, corporate farmer associations, agri-tech organizations, educational institutions and other potential partners.

“We are excited to launch the 100k Farmers Apprentice program at the Cereals Event. This program works with tertiary educational institutions across Africa, and we have secured partnerships with some Nigerian institutions,” said Emmanuel Ansah-Amprofi, Chief Executive Officer at MATE Africa. “We look forward to creating more awareness for both the program and Africa’s quality cereals, and forging meaningful partnerships that will drive international trade and contribute to the socio-economic development of African youths.”

MATE Africa’s participation in the Cereals Event underscores its dedication to advancing Africa’s role in the global cereals market. The company invites stakeholders, buyers, institutions, and policymakers to visit its booth at Stand 170, Heath Farm, to explore partnership opportunities for the program and discuss trade facilitation strategies.
