Sharmans Agricultural Ltd are pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Louth Tractors, the Case IH main dealer for the Central, East and North East Lincolnshire area.

Sharmans Agricultural Ltd are pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Louth Tractors, the Case IH main dealer for the Central, East and North East Lincolnshire area.

The Louth Tractors staff have now become part of the Sharmans family and we are resolute in our belief and company moto that “The Dealer Makes The Difference”.
Sharmans of Louth will operate as normal but under the new ownership and management of Sharmans Agricultural Ltd and the Barclay family. With shared reputations for quality, honesty and family values the deal will ensure continuity for both customers and staff at the Louth depot, while enabling Sharmans to expand its’ business and build on the success of the Case IH brand and enhance the customer experience.

The acquisition confirms Sharmans position as one of the UK’s leading family-run machinery dealerships and enables them to adapt to the needs of the industry and market in this rapidly changing world.

For Sharmans existing and new customers the combined dealerships offer greater security and the ability to invest further in our team, our facilities and technologies so that we can go much further in supporting your businesses and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Scott Barclay explains “Growth in this industry has become a necessity.  However, as a family-run business, people are at the centre of what we do, this includes the staff that make up the Sharmans family, as well as our customers and business partners. These decisions around growth are never taken lightly and Sharmans along with farming family AW Smith (Farm Machinery) Ltd, trading as Louth Tractors, have worked together, closely, amicably and openly in securing the agreement to the benefit of all parties.”
