Leading provider of fertilisers and crop nutrition solutions Yara UK will be exhibiting at Cereals 2025, showcasing its innovative approach to sustainable farming. The company will demonstrate its comprehensive range of products designed to help farmers navigate increasingly challenging growing conditions while maintaining sustainable farming practices.

An extremely dry spring has been problematic for farmers, putting additional stress on crop development and yield potential. Yara’s approach addresses these challenges head-on, offering solutions that enhance nutrient use efficiency and plant resilience.

"With the UK facing a prolonged dry spell this growing season, managing nutrient levels has become more vital than ever. The importance of effective foliar nutrition cannot be overstated in these conditions. Our micronutrient solutions are specifically designed to ensure that crops remain healthy by achieving the optimal nutrient balance they require to thrive in adverse conditions. Additionally, our Yara Amplix biostimulant range plays a crucial role in resilience to abiotic stress, helping plants withstand environmental pressures while maximising yield potential,” says Joe Blanche, Crop Nutrition Agronomist for Yara UK.

Central to Yara's mission is its commitment to environmental sustainability without compromising on quality or performance. The company continuously invests in research and development to create innovative solutions that reduce agriculture's carbon footprint while ensuring products perform as effectively as possible.

The Yara Amplix biostimulant range, which will be showcased at the Cereals exhibit, is a case in point. Representing a significant advancement in plant nutrition technology, these products work by enhancing the plant’s natural ability to absorb and use nutrients, particularly under stressful conditions. By improving nutrient uptake and helping crops better cope with environmental challenges such as drought and extreme temperatures, biostimulants enable farmers to achieve better results with their existing fertiliser applications.

Yara’s participation at Cereals 2025 reflects its commitment to supporting British agriculture through direct engagement with the farming community. The event provides an invaluable opportunity for farmers to explore the latest innovations in crop nutrition and discuss tailored solutions with Yara’s technical experts.

"We understand the significant difficulties farmers are facing this year due to the challenging weather conditions. Our aim at Cereals is to showcase how our comprehensive product range can help mitigate these challenges while promoting sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both farm profitability and environmental stewardship,” Joe adds.

Visitors to the Cereals event are invited to visit Yara UK at stand 1100, where the company's technical specialists will be available to discuss specific crop nutrition needs and provide expert guidance on optimising nutrient management strategies for the remainder of the growing season and beyond.
