A BioFilter is designed as a simple effective low cost solution for the treatment of pesticides in water. The full kit consists of a silt trap, underground tank, BioBox stacks, pumps and pipes. Water from your fill area is collected and pumped through a 3-stage filtration system, before being accumulated for final dispersion. As water percolated by gravity through the BioMix (straw, compost and top soil), this forces the organic breakdown of pesticides and herbicides from the water, allowing pesticides free water to re-enter the ground via a drip line irrigation system.
