Since starting our journey in 2006, The British Quinoa Company has steadily grown, teaming up with farmers and customers across the country to grow and market British quinoa grains within an expanding health-conscious and gluten free marketplace.  

Being able to grow a UK quinoa crop has taken several years of research, trials (and plenty of tribulation) on the family farm in Shropshire. The early years are now paying off and has led to growing specialist varieties for the human consumption market. With a progressive grower group and independent trial sites across the UK, there is a strong focus on sustainably increasing yields and understanding grain quality characteristics.
