Griffith Elder at Cereals 2024
Griffith Elder are market leading manufacturers of Full Size Weighbridges for agricultural applications which, when connected to the demand for traceability within the food chain and more accurate cropping records, are becoming a must have tool on many farms.
In addition to Full Size Weighbridges, Griffith Elder also manufacture portable Weigh Beams, Multi-Axle and Single Axle units which are in demand by agricultural, industrial, recycling and road transport industries.
Griffith Elder's Weigh Beams are typically surface mounted which need no formal or permanent installation. They are the entry point method of weighing farm tractor and trailers as well as articulated lorries and bulkers and their contents with a combined weight capacity of up to 50 tonnes. They can record tare, net and gross weights. Our Weigh Beams come with fully folding ramps and as well as running from a standard 13 amp or 12 volt supply, come with a self contained power pack and are therefore suitable for use in remote locations as well as the main yard.
Included in the standard kit is an LED indicator which is mounted on a tri-pod and visible to the driver at all times during the weighing process. In addition there is a ticket printer and all the associated cables. The recorded information is stored onto a memory stick which can be transfered to a computer and viewed or saved in spreadsheet format on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Also available as an option are RFID Fobs which are issued for specific vehicle combinations so that the driver does not need to exit the vehicle. With a simple press of the button Date, Time and Vehicle Tare Weight and Net Weight of the crop are stored with every weighing.
Also available from Griffith Elder is a comprehensive range of On Board Weighing Solutions that can be fitted to standard farm trailers, muck spreaders and forage wagons ideally at the point of manufacture.
