Ready for Tomorrow with New Holland Agriculture

Connectivity and Sustainability will be the dominate theme for showgoers visiting the New Holland Agriculture stand no 934 at the Cereals 2023 show which takes place on 13th and 14th June at Thoresby Estate, Nottinghamshire. New Holland is striving to work with farmers towards achieving the efficient and sustainable farm of tomorrow.

The new T7.300 long Wheelbase with PLM Intelligence will be part of the exciting line-up planned for the show. Delivering more power and best-in-class power-to-weight ratio while maintaining the dimensions and manoeuvrability of other T7 models. This tractor provides its operator with a supremely smooth ride derived from the new Comfort RideÔ suspension whilst enjoying the superior quality of the HorizonÔ Ultra cab, the quietest on the market at 66 dBA. Equipped with the efficiency-boosting PLM IntelligenceÔ and IntelliViewÔ 12” monitor, and the SideWinderÔ Ultra fully adjustable armrest for ergonomic intuitive operation. These features all work towards maximising the tractor’s efficiency, productivity, and uptime.

 Customers will be able to spend more time in the fields, with an 18% increase in fuel capacity as well as minimising their operational costs with a service interval that’s 50% longer than some competitors. The new model features an upgraded version of New Holland’s popular Auto CommandÔ transmission, the best-in-class driveline for tractive effort, which further adds to the tractor’s exceptional efficiency.

With the drive to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future, New Holland are proud to present the UK built and first of its kind T6.180 Methane tractor, winner of the 2022 Sustainable Tractor of the Year Award. This tractor is a key player in reducing carbon footprint credentials with a dramatic reduction in Particulate matter (PM) and Nitrous Oxides (NOX) and other harmful gases resulting in an overall saving of 80% emissions polluting the atmosphere all whilst delivering the same power, torque, and durability as a diesel equivalent. The tractor is powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) which allows users to make use of biomethane stations, Alternatively, refilling can be performed directly from the gas grid network with an installed compressor.

New Holland is delighted to announce that CNH Industrial strategic partner Bennamann https://bennamann.com/  will be joining the team at the Cereals show this year. Bennamann are the UK-based expert in solutions to capture, repurpose and store fugitive methane emissions from manure slurry lagoons for energy use. New Holland and Bennamann’s “Energy Independent Net Zero Farming Circular Solution” recently won the Net Zero Circular Solution Award in the 2023 AD and Biogas Industry Awards at the World Biogas Expo in Birmingham.

The experts from Bennamann are looking forward to meeting visitors and discussing the creation of an “Energy Independent Farm”: utilizing agricultural waste on-farms to produce Biomethane which is then used to fuel the methane tractor as well as producing fuel for heating and electricity generation. It can also be a possible additional revenue stream if sold into local and national biomethane markets, or through the export of electricity to a power grid. In addition, by using biomethane, farmers can achieve a negative carbon footprint and use the by-products of biodigestion as natural fertilisers on their fields

Visitors to the stand must not miss the New Holland Big Baler HD1290.  Responding to the industry trend, New Holland have taken another revolutionary step in baling technology with this high-density baler. This baler will produce bales up to 22% more dense than standard conventional balers, making for more efficient logistics & transport.  Perfect for professional baling contractors and bale merchants who may be considering an upgrade for the 2024 harvest season.
