Soya production in the UK - Will it develop into a major crop?

At a time when many of the mainstream, traditional break crops are suffering with agronomic and marketing difficulties, the need for other viable break crops has never been greater. UK-grown soya is expanding its area, and is gaining interest, but is soya in a position to make the big time, or will it remain a niche crop? David McNaughton, Managing Director of Soya UK explains why he thinks Soya is here to stay, and why he thinks the area will continue to expand with the crop eventually taking a significant place alongside the more traditional break crops.
