With landowners and farmers facing unprecedented levels of political, economic, and legislative change, this session will discuss a simple and long-term way to diversify income while helping to restore nature through the creation of biodiverse habitats. The session, delivered by Environment Bank Chairman, Professor David Hill, CBE, explains the concept of Habitat Banking and how landowners can secure long-term, attractive income through the delivery and management of diverse habitats on their land. This includes which site assessments and land management agreements can be made, as well as all of the benefits on offer including guaranteed payments.
