Eveey's family are generational tenants of Hertfordshire County Council. The main farm is 100ha, and they rent a further 50ha and 32ha plots of land from HCC. They also rent from other landlords and contract farms, so in total farm around 1500ha.  They farm combinable cereal crops - namely wheat, barley, spring oats (for glebe farm - gluten free oats) and oil seed rape (OSR)

In addition, the family own a gritting company that they have been running for around 15 years.  More recently they have diversified into Padel tennis, one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, turning a grainstore into a padel court, and have plans to turn another ex workshop shed into a gym. They also have some longer standing business tenants including a grounds maintenance company, carpenters and wholesale suppliers.
