Sheep farmer in a share farming partnership on a mixed arable and livestock farm in Wiltshire. “Our breeding flock lamb and run over on permanent pasture in the spring and summer, moving onto the arable section of the farm in the autumn and winter to graze a mixture of herbage seed, cover crops, winter cereals and stubble turnips.  We also run a store lamb finishing enterprise, finishing our own and bought in store lambs on cover crops and turnips.  This year I also contract shepherded store lambs on another arable farm looking to introduce livestock into his arable rotation for the first time.
