Secretary and Adviser, Central Association of Agricultural Valuers

Since 1995 Jeremy has been Secretary and Adviser to the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers as well as an independent adviser, Visiting Professor of Rural Land Management and Policy at the RAU and vice chairman of the European Valuation Standards Board.  Having been engaged with the rounds of CAP reform for more than three decades, he is now heavily involved in both appraising the Brexit process and working on post-Brexit policies with governments across the UK, including natural capital and public goods, soils, farm structures, land occupation and use, farming retirement and housing, and other matters – much of this being the management of coming change.  He has worked, written and spoken on a wide range of other legislation from practical aspects of natural capital to the recent Electronic Communications Code governing masts and cables, also addressing conferences abroad from Portugal to China.
