Kate Cobbold is the Head of Product Management and Agroservices at KWS UK, overseeing the company’s diverse crop portfolio. In this dynamic role, Kate and her team focus on understanding the rotational benefits of different crops and their market positioning, enabling the team to show their value to farmers and downstream partners. By aligning these factors with strategic development, Kate and her team hope to drive further success of the KWS portfolio in the market.

Kate holds a Master’s degree in Crop Protection and Agronomy from Harper Adams University. She began her career in the seed industry almost 14 years ago at Syngenta, where she gained experience in Field Production, Key Account Management, and Product Management.

Since joining KWS in 2022, Kate has managed the company’s OSR, Oat, and Pea portfolios. Alongside this, she led the successful introduction of KWS’ first hybrid barley to the UK market.
