Baroness Kate Rock is the chair of the independent Tenancy Working Group tasked with making recommendations on how Defra can improve current schemes and future policy design to incorporate tenants. She is a Director of Wrackleford Farms Ltd, a tenant farming enterprise and a trustee and Director of The Prince's Countryside Fund.
Kate sat on the House of Lords Select Committee on the rural economy that published a report in April 2019: "Time for a Strategy for the Rural Economy". She is currently on the Science and Technology Committee who recently published their report on the role of nature-based solutions in mitigating climate change.
Kate has a portfolio of non-executive directorships including Keller Group Plc, Unbound Group Plc, and is a board member of the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation.
