Will is a fourth generation farmer on his family farm, a Harper Adams alumni, BASIS and FACTS Qualified and NAGA 2022 Cereal Farmer of the Year. Focused on optimising his cost of production, Will undertakes all the agronomy on farm and runs the arable operations alongside a thriving commercial poultry unit. Having recently slashed his cost of production for Winter Wheat down to £44.76 a ton, Will’s focus is on running as productive a farm as possible.

We don’t sit back and question ‘how much does it cost to plough this field?’ Its not about chasing the biggest yield, its about questioning every decision, understanding every aspect of the farm, growing an efficient crop with the right input costs and the best end value.”
