The TYPHOON "TAB" range of mobile centrifugal fans are primarily used for drying smaller parcels of grain, oil seed and pulses; often stored in bins, the drying of baled hay and the ventilation of potatoes, onions and flower bulbs.
The TYPHOON "TLV" range of low volume fans are most commonly used for ventilation, to control the temperature in ‘dry’ stores where the grain has already been dried down to the desired moisture content level.

The TYPHOON STIRRER SYSTEM is designed to operate in floor stores, moving grain evenly through its total depth. Stores up to 12m wide, by any length and by depths from 1.5m to 4.5m. The main beam carries two auger carriages, each with 2 auger drives. The auger carriages are linked together and have a position chain drive for traversing across the store. Each auger is driven by individual 1.1 kw motors.

The Typhoon range of fans are built from scratch at the Pellcroft Engineering Ltd factory in Coningsby Lincolnshire. Pellcroft are able to customize the size and frame to suit any fan house configuration, recondition old fans (including Matthews and Yates models) and rebalance fan impellers.
